Build a Legacy, Impact the World Through Art

Beginning September 3, 2009 through September 30, 2009, Global Crest will hold the 2009 Art Entrepreneurship Series; a program series consisting of 6 online video (audio) presentations for aspiring and established artist entrepreneurs to view at their own pace, and scheduled web conferences for real time discussion and questions. The video presentations consist of audio lectures in an iMovie text slide presentation format.
The series will resemble a course with video presentations providing valuable tools, strategies, ideas, and 21st century flavor that will help artists to strengthen their art enterprise, or to help them build a business around their art.

There will be one or two video presentations available for each registered participant each week during the series. There will be two web conferences that participants can choose from. Depending on demand, there may be additional web conferences added. Participants will learn a variety of rich and valuable information that will help them build and grow their art enterprise.

The instructor and moderator will be Christi Pemberton, Founder of Global Crest Music, LLC and former art museum curator with long time experience promoting and building relations with the art world.

I do have few questions and your response will be appreciated:

These videos presentation will be only will be online project as you mentioned" for aspiring and established artists entrepreneurs to view at their own pace, and scheduled web conferences for real time discussion and questions."I would like to know who are the audiences? How many? What is the publicity of that online conference? Is it first time for this project to take place?

Why only 6 online videos? Where this will lead to? What is the total cost?
Is this project has been designed only for discussions? What is the use for artists?

Thank you. The audiences will be artists who would like to become entrepreneurs or already started a business around their art. They will be very enthusiastic, and have a desire to obtain and implement opportunities offered in this 21st century. The audience can be from any age group, even though my company's general target audience are normally from ages around mid-twenties to mid-forties. The series have openings of 50 spaces, however, if there is an increase in demand, then adjustments will be made with the number of web conferences offered. The publicity is through online (i.e., social networks and my company's website), and also includes a simple video promo. For this online series in art, it is the first time. The 6 online videos was decided based on the number of topics that I have a passion to speak on and comfortable to offer at this time. Two of the videos are partner videos --Partnerships 1 and Partnerships 2, which will both be offered in one week and balancing out the month long limit).
The series will lead artists to become more independent, get their voices heard in a greater proactive way, use the new media and 21st century opportunities to make a huge impact. The series is like an online course to help artists make their first steps, or continue those steps, to make a strong impact and valuable career as a 21st century artist entrepreneur.

Registration Costs:
*Each video presentation consists of a pre-recorded audio lecture produced in a slide show video format (written text and audio with a background but will not actually see me on the video).

Full Package: (all 6 video presentations + one web conference)
Cost: $50

All Video Presentation Package (all video presentations)
Cost: $45

Individual Video Presentation Package (one video presentation + one web conference)
Cost: $25

Participants can choose one web conference from among two web conferences. The web conference will be included in the participants package choice. The two choices of web conferences are "Web Conference", or "Building the Kingdom web conference". The "Building the Kingdom" conference may also be purchased alone without the videos for a small fee.

Web Conference: Discussions of topics in the video presentations and questions from participants.
Cost: Free with all packages

Special Edition Web Conference: Building the Kingdom (conference in artists in Christian ministry)
Cost: $5

The video presentations are lectures and will be for participants to listen to. The web conferences will allow for discussion.
