“Ineffective people live day after day with unused potential. They experience synergy only in small, peripheral ways in their lives. But creative experiences can be produced regularly, consistently, almost daily in people's lives. It requires enormous personal security and openness and a spirit of adventure.” -Stephen R. Covey

Hi~
I am not quite sure what to do in this group, I used to get into poetry and writing, yet life has taken so many turns in recent years that often I am at a loss for words. I have focused on my art, as I am alone now sine my former husband died, so now I am looking towards the future and exploring ways to make a business out of my art and to launch an art business to sell my art along with the art of my membership on my new network. My former husband had nothing to leave us beyond momentos so now I am working harder to start over again putting full effort into my art as a business instead of something I was doing on the side and for satisfaction alone.I realize now I should never have put it off while raising my family as I am so far behind in the world of business today.I used to work on Wall St in New York City decades ago, but since moving to the country it has been like time stood still for me as the world passed by.

I would love to start to travel more and to travel abroad, so I can find new things to paint and photograph to incorporate in my art.

I used to participate in art shows but since I moved to the country, most of my work is virtual, online, which lacks in satisfaction and for years lacked purpose.Although I painted to give away as gifts or on an occasional commission, I always put it on the back burner, even when others encouraged me to go full force into art. Now I have but to wonder if I am too late or if I can realize my dreams.

So I am glad to be a member here if even as an observer for now. :)Ave

"A leader is one who, out of madness or goodness, volunteers to take upon himself the woe of the people. There are few men so foolish, hence the erratic quality of leadership in the world."
