I'm delighted to make your acquaintance. SICU is an amazing platform, and Tom is an incredible guy. I regard him as something of a mentor, to be honest. He was one of the first people I bumped into when I first ventured into social networking. I operate on a lot of platforms and this place always feel like coming home. Tom and SICU opened up remarkable networking possibilities for me. With you, I look forward to continuing in that vain.
With regard to networking, I’m of the belief that practically all of us that 'populate' this vast social networking universe simply make countless (often apparently random) connections ...
And we VERY SELDOM explore how to take those relationships further.
(At least one assumes that developing our relationship is our primary purpose for connecting here!)
The problem is we tend to waste far too much time on connections that go ... NOWHERE!
I'm hoping this won't be one of those!
