thanks for your warm welcome. I'm more than grateful for this group; the challenges do business nowadays are fierce, and I believe the hamour is to leverage on synergy, Internet,... (simlpy put; SICU proposition).
A typical case is Nigeria, where there's so much irregularities when enforcing the law. Businesses are run down because of multiple taxation arising from tiers of government operation in the state.
The wise thing to do: beat the system!
The legislature do not cover much (deficient) when ICT is a topical issue. Well, Internet prescence enjoys high level of tax freedom also is the risk individuals and businesses are exposed to.
Also, the issue of local support. Thanks to professional networks like SICU & LinkedIn, and supportive members I been able to aspire past the potential drawbacks.
I have redesigned my startup around the offerings I can get from online networking with professionals, and build an online flagship brand which will be the forerunner of the offline (perhaps a franchise).
I currently try to manage four blogs; two of which are my emerging information services, one supports agency deal, the last offers affordable e-marketing support for clients:

ii) Nigeria Industry News- http://nigeriaindustrynews.blogspot.com/
iii) Entertainment Tickettle- http://naijagrooves.blogspot.com/

All these I plan to unite under offerings of brick company.
I hope to collaborate with other NGOs, and other grassroot bodies (religious, peer groups etc.) on cause related marketing.
On of such is capacity building in computer literacy.
I'd welcome suggestions concerning my projects.
