"what worries me is that internet users, and especially power-users, belong to so many sites, groups, activities, and the creation of just another place asking them to gather might work like a negative thing".

Dear George,

I would like to point-out that this was actually the reason I created this private network in the first place... in order to have the opportunity to pick-up the most interesting connections from my globally extensive networks and groups, and gather them under a mutual "SICU Sunshade". I think it's about the quality of this network, which makes it interesting. Best regards, TOM

Dear George,

Thank you very much for your manifesto! As the comment wall you wrote in is meant for short comments only, I would like to suggest that you edited the text a little bit in order to be suitable for all of our members. Then post it as a blog post in the discussion forum of the SICU SKY TRAVEL group where I see it belongs. I am sure you have some great photos you can color the article with as well or a perhaps a video.

I know a little bit about sailing as I used to be a sailing and windsurfing instructor, and participated in off-shore races mostly in the Baltic sea during a period of 12-years. Because of my bad back and knees (too much skiing) I have not been sailing during the last years at all, but as you well understand, I'm still very interested.

Best regards,

TOM

Hello George,

To moderate the group is not a problem at all. It's more or less to create the group, write a short descrpition and an introduction to tell what the group offers its members. Then there is naturally the opportunity to write blog posts in the discussion forum in order to e.g. promote your activities. Best regards, TOM

George, would you be interested to co-create a SICU SAILING & YACHTING group here on SICU SSGN? This is something I have been planning for a longer period of time but I need someone to moderate it. Best regards, TOM
