I am Canadian fine artist with passion for art since childhood. My first oil painting was sold at age of 12. I exhibited my oil paintings nationally and internationally and received numerous awards from first & second place awards, Honorable Mention Awards, Viewers’ Choice Awards to Certificate of Excellence Award. My profile was published in many local, national & international publications such as “Who is who in Visual Art”, Germany, “Florence Biennale Catalog”, and Chianciano Biennale and in Ferrara, Italy, “Gallery & Studio” magazine (The world of the Working Artist) NYC, “Chamber of Commerce Courier”, CA, "The sounds of art" DK, and in many Press Releases as a feature artist such as “Arteast Newsletter”, “Gloucester Art Council” and “Ottawa Art Association”, CA. Passion for art, what is?

Dear Members,

I would like to share this subject with you and your feed back is always welcome.

Passion for art, what is? Word passion has been driven from the Greek word “pathos” and has more than one meaning. It can mean something good or bad happens to us, in particular, bad thing carries the meaning of suffering! Passion in Latin word is “passion” means suffering and the verb is “pati” means to suffer!
