- I am Canadian fine artist with passion for art since childhood. My first oil painting was sold at age of 12. I exhibited my oil paintings nationally and internationally and received numerous awards from first & second place awards, Honorable Mention Awards, Viewers’ Choice Awards to Certificate of Excellence Award. My profile was published in many local, national & international publications such as “Who is who in Visual Art”, Germany, “Florence Biennale Catalog”, and Chianciano Biennale and in Ferrara, Italy, “Gallery & Studio” magazine (The world of the Working Artist) NYC, “Chamber of Commerce Courier”, CA, "The sounds of art" DK, and in many Press Releases as a feature artist such as “Arteast Newsletter”, “Gloucester Art Council” and “Ottawa Art Association”, CA. I have a B.F.A and measured in Interior and Exterior designs, Egypt - Commercial Arts Diploma - Certificate of Achievement in Digital Media and Desktop Publishing with Honor Award, CA. I was commissioned to produce oil painting of the Canadian Constitution Acts which was presented to the Prime Minister of Canada Mr. Pierre E. Trudeau 1982. 1999, and had received a letter of thanks and appreciation from Mr. P. E. Passion for art, what is?
I would like to share this subject with you and your feed back is always welcome.
Passion for art, what is? Word passion has been driven from the Greek word “pathos” and has more than one meaning. It can mean something good or bad happens to us, in particular, bad thing carries the meaning of suffering! Passion in Latin word is “passion” means suffering and the verb is “pati” means to suffer!

Since we all have been networking, why not discuss what was behind the network at the first place? What are the benefits other than chatting or establishing business etc. How it came about, and why and with what results? When did it start?
